Up the pace
A decadent way to start your morning is having chocolate cheesecake from the Cheesecake Cafe for breakfast. Yum yum. Quite a cool little cafe, next to Liquid Kitchen in Siglap, nearer the side of Frankel than Gelare and all. We had pizza at pizza hut on thursday, they've remodelled the place and changed the way the handle customers, though there's still some areas to be improved upon. Such as the way they wanna have a server attached to each table, but failed miserably, coz in the end every other waiter and waitress handled our orders, brought us our food, explained the delay and made up for the delay with free garlic bread. Well he did get us water and the bill if it counts for anything. But otherwise the service was quite good, they seemed so eager to please us, which is a first i've really seen around. Maybe coz they're young or something.
I've been thinking about joining the SAFRA shooting club, but unfortunately i'm too broke to even pay the annual membership fee for students at $160 or something. Figured having something to enjoy doing would be good for me. I've come to realise that i've been very lost after i stopped rugby. But the funny part is that i'm not entirely close to those people but yet it makes quite a difference to my life. I guess i need a sport to be the centre of my life all the time, it makes it easier for me to focus and manage my time more efficiently and be more productive. I'm tired of the nua-ing me, that has been slacking for the past 2 years. During the past 2 years i've also felt very depressed and unmotivated, and if any employer saw me in such a state i'd hardly think they'd want me. Well guess my self-esteem dipped along the way during the course of my degree. See what the paper chase can do to you. It's scary isn't it. Hopefully i'm slowly climbing back, i wanna do something with my life rather than just stroll past everyday.
