Wondering out loud & general happiness

General happiness because a "lost" package came back to mama! Mailed a pair of earrings to the wrong address, thankfully there was no such unit number so it got returned back. Although it did take quite a while and some panicking. But the really strange thing is when I called up Singpost, I got 2 different stories as to how long it'll take to return and retrieval. Thankfully I waited it out and it's back, better still all intact, without any breakages especially since it contained a pair of fragile cubic zirconia teardrop beads. -phew- I finally feel the weight lifted off now.

I stopped blogging daily or so often coz I've started to run out of topics, besides telling you what I did in my day which is so full of mundane stuff and even I find repetitive, I don't think you'd ever enjoy reading it again and again. Neither do I find joy in typing similar stuff again, although I've been known to repeat how I'm late for my assignment deadlines. Lol. Anyway, that's not the point. Point is, I scour for blogs to read daily, I read the newspapers, damninteresting.com, and many other readable materials i can lay my hands on. Ok I'm losing my train of thought, oops. Erm.. yah, i read blogs and sometimes i find it boring and some of these posts well pretty normal, but yet i keep reading it. I suppose it's the curiosity of what's happening in the other person's life on a daily basis. Is it because we're disconnected from the real world and seek to 'connect' online or what? Or am i just plain bored and have too much free time on my hands. At this point in time please do not remind me that I still have a tokyo post to put up, it's half way through the 1st day, patience my dears. =p

On to other, to me not very, mundane stuff. I've got a new $9.90 Logitech keyboard that's really silent and black. So now I can mug through the night without worrying that I'm typing too loud while Jon's sleeping. Or maybe I should just stop procrastinating then I don't have to work through the night. Anyway I'm happy because i'm finally getting rid of the trusty compaq keyboard that came with my old Compaq PC, which means getting rid of an almost 6yrs worth of germ-filled input device. Now, how about a sleek and black LCD monitor to match my black (and tinges of silver) casing, mouse, speakers and spanking new keyboard. Ooh, maybe a cool black and silver table too.

Off to dinner at Timbre and maybe some drinks, that'll be nice.
