HK recap

Emi, Justin, Dawne, Mao, Elaine & Aaron @ APM shopping center.

We caught X-Men III there too. The tickets are slightly more expensive, $11, but there was a waiting area before the shows start, so you can stand around at these tables and pretend to look cool. The seats were all leather, and people with big butts need not worry coz the seats were really big. The cinema was small and really cozy, and the sound effects were not lacking either. So paying $11 was quite ok, but not if it's a regular thing, although we may soon be watching shows at that price.

The vending machines were really fascinating. Maybe coz i'm used to seeing such stuff being dispensed from a machine which u 'tong' money and then 'turn, turn, turn' and wait for it to drop out. But this is uber cool. And if u can see the machine on the right, it's actually selling Tommy Hilfiger perfumes at about HKD220. But hey if u think you smell, just tap your octopus card (HK version of EZ-link card) and then u can go ahead and spray yourself with Tommy Hilfiger perfume. No more smelly dates!

One of the nicest pics taken of me. I guess i seldom get people taking flattering candid shots of me. Courtesy of my dad. We were at Lane Crawford, nice huge beautiful shopping center, which overlooks the harbour/pier. Their bigger and better version of our paragon shopping center.

This is one helluva yummy cheese & milk pie, yes from the pie & tart specialists. I bought it from the shops at Prince Edward MTR station, like how we have cheers or 7-11 or mama shops at our mrt stations, but theirs with more yummy options. Didn't see them at some of the other stations that i dropped off at.

Yes that's kon from the anime series Bleach (The Official Site in Jap, go and see the pics, i know you don't understand jap, neither do i, with the exception of Kei) I wanted to do the Amelie thing with kon, but i wasn't very shutter-happy during the trip. Noticeably with all the photos below coming from my friend's camera.

Yes, my very cute and pretty Emi, who's apparently fallen in love with the hairband or something. She doesn't quite like us very much after we took that picture of her. Hehe.

Aaron, Mao & my brother attempting to do the Hard Gay pose in APM shopping center. Unfortunately my brother seems to look the most like the original, with the facial expression right on cue. Aaron just looks pregnant.

We love Haagen Dazs.

My brother, WingKei, me, Emi & Mao at some shopping center in Mongkok. It's quite interesting coz from the outside the building doesn't look like a shopping center at all. Then again i was feeling quite lost that night.

Us again in the same shopping center
