Zonked

Yeah feeling a little zonked right now. Everything is too bright for my eyes. This happens when i get hayfever and sleep but don’t recover totally. Yesterday’s plan of a very fun afternoon didn’t go quite as planned. Dropped by the beadstore to pick up some stuff and then i overstayed by another 45mins talking to the boss. So there goes my craft swop. Sigh and i had packed all the beads into nice little packets and all. Then caught Shoot ‘em up, which i had booked wrongly the night before. That happens when you’re too easily excitable and don’t read the details of the bookings, so i clicked for a 3.35am show and it was too late and i was too tired to go down to change the timings. We caught the 3.20pm yesterday though. So anyway after tt even though the timing of the swop was over i decided to try my luck to see if anyone might still be lingering after 5pm. We walked til we were like 20m away from the shop and decided we couldn’t find the shop. Walked back and enjoyed the houses and the surroundings. It’s really nice to see the quaint shophouses behind Rouge and all at Emerald Hill. So anyways got the car and was on the way to my aunt’s place, then i decided i’ll try one last time to find the place. Which we eventually did. Of course everyone has left already but at least i found the place. Only to realise we were so close. Lol. Oh well. Another time then.

Spent today shopping for my brother’s clothes for his attachment. The salesman at Crocodile was rather funny, he was asking so what’s your brother shopping for? Like what’s the occasion. Haha. He asked with a really bemused tone in his voice. But the service at this shop at Vivo is really superb. They were attentive, helpful, never did they give us the walau why are you so troublesome look. Despite the many times my brother tried and asked for different sizes and all. I’m really impressed. Should have bought a bar of chocolate to thank them for their impeccable service or something. So that’s my happening weekend.

Oooh and the really exciting nail biting match between Wales and Fiji. It was such a close match to watch and either team could have won it. Really fun match to watch although in terms of standard they’re definitely not anywhere near the OZ and NZ team. Hesitation, crabbing, but remarkably few handling errors though, especially since NZ and OZ seem to be have butterfingers lately. I can watch all the matches I want since i’ve handed in my thesis now. WOOT!!! This ends my superbly incoherent post for this weekend.
