Post-Exams

Usually when i go through my exam paper during the 10mins reading period, i'd read the short/long qns, choose the qns i wanna tackle n then go through the MCQ. This time round i dove right straight into the short qns, without even looking at the MCQ. Which was a good thing, because the MCQ was so damn easy, even the textbook's companion website MCQs were tougher. Haha. Happiness.

Went to Hong Kong Cafe after the paper for late dinner/supper. Apparently the reviews raved about the food. I found it to be not really my taste. Ordered Hot Spicy Chicken Instant Noodles, it tasted sourish (or is it supposed to be tangy?) and i don't think it sat very well with my stomach coz i had so much gas throughout the night, when the gas finally subsided or was totally expelled from my body, it was already 3am (almost 4hrs after the late dinner, ARGH!!!). Then our drinks got mixed up, and it took them a really long time just to get our drinks done (a whole 15mins). Service was kinda shoddy, i feel. We should have just grabbed the Mango King (the drink they served wrongly), apparently it's like their best seller and costs $5.50. And i think it would have tasted better than Jon's 15-minute-wait Lemon Lime Honey. The reviews went on about how authentic their food tasted and that even Hong Kong expats gave it raving reviews and keep coming back for more. After our bad experience with their staff, Jon concluded, yeah even their service is authentically Hong Kong. That's funny, considering how Singapore always compare our service standards with them? Maybe it's for retail and not F The French Toast was not bad, or as Jon says so, maybe their other dishes taste better. But anyway they do have a really long and extensive menu, maybe i should bring my mum there or pack food for her, those chinese desserts looks like something she'd enjoy.

Need to catch up on some sleep before heading out for a long day later. More posts or something throughout the week.
