Gleeful Stories, Annoyances & Opinions of the Day

Gleeful Stories
After gym as i was about to get into my car to head to the glass house for dinner, somebody shouted "Oei!". Usually i do not bother to turn my head around to such calls because i don't quite think that is the most polite way to address a person, even if u don't know me. No catcalls, wolf-whistles, nor the "zut zut" sound that comes out of your pursed lips. However i did, and i saw Jonathan. Haha so cool. Apparently he came by to town to have dinner with Amos who just finished his gym session. Wow, coincidences aplenty. Then i headed for dinner with Levi, who did some financial calculation for me. Pretty long time since we met up, but it was all good. Talked about cars too, which always tempts me to modify my car into a powerful machine, but of course reality doesn't allow me to do so as yet. After the dinner i realised that i miss hanging out with my friends, i haven't really had time to spend with some of my friends after we got together. Which means this holiday i really ought to start catching up with my friends. So keep your calendars free the week after next coz i wanna book you for lunch/tea/dinner. =) I've procrastinated it for quite a few holidays already so i really ought to get down to it.

Went round to vivian's place to pick up my present, to my surprise it was a ring that i saw while walking down town with her and bok, but i didn't have the money to afford the ring. When i opened the package it looked like several packets of small little trinkets or something, but it was the ring and a very sweet letter. Thank you darling I LOVE IT. Hehe.

Annoyances
The stopper for my car's tyres went missing, 3 of the original and 2 of the new ones, so now i have 3 stoppers out of the 4 tyres. Wonder who's the thieving rat at my MSCP. Asshole.

Opinions
My mum wants to take up a counselling diploma and embark on a career (do u still call it career at her age?) in this line. Sure, i definitely encourage her to pick up something new. However, i dunno how many diploma certified counsellors are there, and how many are actually doing some help to these people. Sure you may say that at the end of the day that it's the heart that matters not the paper. Let me tell you, that's BULLSHIT. There are many diploma certified counsellors or volunteers who have spent merely 6-12 months doing some counselling modules here and there and then consider themselves qualified to counsel. Unfortunately, despite having the heart, you lack the skills. That is why psychology is considered a professional degree. Part of the reason why i have something against these people are that there are too many stories of these so-called qualified counsellors who open many cans of worms and leave the clients in a worse state than when they started. With physical health many a times, if a doctor makes a mistake (not too fatal) your health is still repairable. With mental health, a lot of times, even the minor mistakes cannot be or are extremely difficult to undo. So if you ever hear somebody going to a counsellor who has very little experience and has a diploma but charges very cheaply, i'd advise you to spend some quality money. Afterall when you're down you don't really want another kick on your ass to push u off the cliff do you.
