Time slips away

Busy days, gotta pack my bag, do my dad's petty cash so no suntanning this week. *sob* Busy day tomorrow too, fetching cousins, fetching jonathan, fetching maid, going to town and hopefully everything prepared for the trip. And then i'll have fun for 4 days and come back hopefully a little darker, with some bangkok spoils and ready for chinese new year. Which reminds me i have to pack my room next week.

Met Xinyi yesterday, and we spent a loooooong time in esprit in Jurong point, i've never ever spent so much time in one shop (1.5hrs) except when i'm doing my hair or something. But never shopping for clothes. This is a record. The ironic part, we managed to choose Jeremy's present in 5mins. Not because we couldn't be bothered to think of a nice present, but it was the perfect present and we chanced upon it at the first shop we entered. Heh. We ARE good. Ok so we had what we wanted to buy for him in mind, but most presents needed to be found and dug and searched, not presenting itself to us like that. That's why people appreciate gifts more than money, because you need to think and it shows that you're thoughtful, blah blah. But it isn't neccessarily true, some people just pick up stuff along some shop on the way to meet you, that's why you end up with crappy gifts that you end up regifting or relegating it to the store or to salvation army. However, getting a crappy gift, doesn't mean the person just picked it up along the way too, they are just less perceptive and don't know your preferences that well. i make it sound as though i'm cooking up excuses to cover my ass, Jeremy/ Esther if you're reading this, we didn't ok, we bought a very nice practical present which we think you'll(Jeremy) like it. =)
