we can't make it there in time

Well or so jonathan thought. We were on our way down from home to drop Amos off at momo and then us at Zouk. Three of us before 10pm so that we can gain free entry(Amos) and cheaper entry @ 15 buckeroos (Jon & I) We left my place around 9.35pm then to jurong point to pick amos up and then down to our destination. But I showed both of them we could make it, even though we had 20minutes and we were still on the AYE (actually that seems like a lot of time, but bear in mind queueing takes time y'know). Sped, and then followed an equally anxious to get to destination jaguar. Glaring tail lights makes it easier for us to follow him hot on his heels, ok my little car ain't no tiger but it ain't some cutesy little kitten either. But his acceleration was definitely a huge diff as compared to mine. Then screeching tyres at merchant road exit on the CTE, ok i have to admit at that moment i was wondering if the car would lose control with the speed that i entered that bend (a speed i've not tried before), with 2 precious lives of my bf & buddy all due to my recklessness. Thank god my tyres had grip, and grip they did for our dear lives. Ok it wasn't thaaaaat bad but as a passenger i would started to worry, especially when i have no control of the situation. If the car did slide, it would have slid left and the 2 passengers would have been smashed first. Anyway it was all fine and we all reached our destination in time. But we didn't get in cheaper, the queue was mighty long. DARN. So we gave up and then decided to drop by macs before going back to join the mad crowd at zouk.

Seb Fontaine was not bad, but there were times when the pulsating beats started to sound the same to me. But still a pretty good show. Bumped into sean, chris & mark, avis, wilson with a hot chick if i didn't see wrongly. Real cool. The decor at zouk, didn't strike a really huge impression on me. Considering the amount they spent i would have expected more changes than this. But i guess the speakers were well worth the money. The thumping bass could be felt in my throat, majorly cool if it were the first experience. But i have a feeling if you stood there any longer, you may need to book in a session with the otologist really soon. Avis was asking me 'bout zoukout, armin van buuren is coming down but this year's dj lineup seems a tad leaner than last years. Will see how i guess. Meantime salsa intermediate after my last class this coming tuesday!
