Tales of silly boy & me
I don't mean that he's really silly, i just like the way the word sounds that's all. After salsa class last night, was down with sinus wanted to catch a cab home, however we didn't have that kinda luck. We crossed the road to get a cab, with 2 others trying to vie for a cab with us. One was there before us, the other cut in right in front of our noses. But there weren't many cabs on our side as compared to the other, so we crossed back again. And ahah Murphy's Law strikes. No cabs, after 5 minutes, and we realised the other 2 across the road, got the cabs and went their merry ways. While we waited and waited, with me sniffling like nobody's business. When i get a bad case of sinus, my eyes tear, i feel hot and cold at the same time. If i wear a jacket, i'll perspire, if i take it off i'll feel cold. Basically miserable. Then there were a couple down the road waiting for a cab, and they too managed to get a cab each because of the taxis making a u-turn. Pissed and miserable, wonderful combination. So tempted to take a train instead, so much more reliable, but jon persevered, so we walked down the street, and finally got a cab. After about 15minutes? Could have been longer but i didn't keep track. I was tempted to call my mum to ask where she was though. But no such worries, coz she decided to call me when i got onto the cab. Wonderful timing! Just wasn't my day yesterday. And she rarely goes to town lately, so i didn't bother. But last night she did!! She suggested getting off the cab n then she coming to pick us up along the way. But the cab was already on AYE, so it was too late. Sigh, $12.60. Not lamenting so much about the money, but the lack of luck and whatever nots. Amazing. Totally wonderfully amazing.
Last night jon dozed off on my bed while i was typing some stuff, suddenly i heard him saying, "You have the choke chain right?" Bewildered i decided to say yes just to see what he'd reply. Sleeptalkers! My first encounter! Haha. And after i said "Have", he just nodded his head and continued sleeping. Really funny. Sometimes i just find him so adorable and cute.
The big car is coming today. The small car got serviced yesterday. Shall not drive the big car til it's finally run in. Hehe, only speeds above 100km/hr satisfies me. My brother shall now have a new nickname Mr Forget-To-Switch-Off-Lights, his room, the bathroom, the kitchen, etc. Everywhere. Sigh. Anyway other mundane updates like my report nearing completion, the group report. Haha. The individual 25% report is not started, and is due next friday. Yay. Panic woot! Slowly things are picking up again, motivation level and ability to focus on the task at hand has increased. Not bad for Ms Distracted-Easily. Life is good. Heading down to union square this friday, piercing ears, and dying hair. I foresee i fun weekend ahead. If i get my work done in time, next week may be a fun week too! Wakeboarding maybe?
