Belated birthday update

Yeah it's coming close to a week since my birthday. Ought to thank my 4 mistresses for my birthday present and lovely 'cake' coz i don't know what to call it.

Presents from my beloved and dinner at shashlik, was really touched by what he got me, even though i had to do a treasure hunt for it in my room after i had turned off the lights and was about to sleep. Lunch with bok. Momo with mao, my twin. Then a surprise bbq the following night by my girlfriends. Marred by emotional blackmail from my parents. Received an ang pao from my girlfriends+aaron&mao. Lamp from my darling & her bf. Lunch with my aunt.

Attended a wedding dinner, on the way there it was marred by an outburst by my mum. I refuse to give in on this issue and i'll rebel til the cows come home. If she doesn't bother to try to understand where i am coming from, i'm not backing down simple as that. Read my brother's blog, i think he had it worse. But my parents are so annoying, there is normal annoying and there's another kind of annoying. Annoying is an understatement. Fuck that. Sunday dinner at my gramps. A few more ang paos from my relatives and jon's parents. So i'm gonna get a digicam with the money, might wait til christmas for the price to come down and/or maybe get more freebies, afterall i'm not in a urgent need to get it.
Had lunch with bok today. We've had lunch for two weeks in a row. =) When i hugged her goodbye she was mentioning lunch at some place some other time (meaning some time not so soon), when i said yeah i'll see u next week, her face lit up. Sometimes that's all it takes to make me happy and to know that my effort is all worth it. It's not thank yous, or whatevers, it's a genuine smile on that person's face that the effort u've put in to do something was appreciated deep in their hearts. Coz a smile like that, can only come from one place.
