Sharkie

If a shark was swimming in water and its fin gets cut and bleeds, will it keep chasing the blood trail, assuming its swimming in the opposite direction as the current? Like a dog chasing its tail? Hmm..
Jonathan and i are still discussing how to distract a shark, if u happen to be diving, in order to buy time to get away from it. I've read somewhere you can poke the shark's eye, pound it on its snout and gills because that's where there are more sensory cells on it. Still wondering if u can use your regulator and use the air bubbles to disorientate it. We haven't figured it out though.. I mentioned about checking on your SPG (S-dunno-what pressure gauge) to see how much air you have left before using that trick, u do not want to distract the shark and then realise you don't have enough air to hit the surface, then that kinda defeats the purpose. But he said by then you'd have wasted precious time which you could have used to get away. I guess u can always swim upwards, yes with your dive buddy or of course you could always leave your dive buddy to die and then the shark will go after him/her while u happily get away. Hmmm...... nah i shan't admit to such stuff, lest nobody wants to be my dive buddy.
