After the Bali blasts, I believe that not only will South East Asia be deeply afffected, the other countries in the world save for China will be affected as well. In a global community of today, a small ripple somehwere out there in the big ocean of economies will affect everyone else. Yes, no doubt it will hit the SEA countries more than any other, but do not think that you'll be safe, because once you start to allow this complacency to step in you're the one who's going to be in trouble soon. With the sniper attacks in Washington, America, it goes to show that no one is less prone to acts of terror. Unless you're from the Russian, African and European countries.

But when the world's powerhouse starts to crumble, the next powerhouse will emerge. Yes China will benefit from all these attacks. Those who thought that America will be the stronghold of the world's economies will be proved wrong in the near future. Who knows the Al Qaeda may be in cahoots with China. America will have lesser time to meddle with the taiwan-china quarrels. As the terrorists attacks our pockets, we have to rally the global community to not give in to the waves of fear that these terrorists are spreading. The entire global economy can only improve if we, the global community, step up and say that no we will not be intimidated by your insane acts of terror. We will stand up tall and work hand in hand to stop all your acts of atrocities. The world will only be in peace if the leaders will admit that this is something that has to be dealt with immediately. Not hiding behind the muslim facade that no they will not attack their own people. I won't be surprised that after they've obliterated all their targets and left with none to conquer, your own extremists will turn against you. We're in the hands of God now.
