Intro to Women’s Rugby Workshop 2005
No matter your size, speed, or strength, there is a position for YOU !!!
Come on, come all and learn to PLAY !!!
The Singapore Rugby Union will be conducting two sessions of introduction to Women’s Rugby workshop. The objective of these workshops is to introduce the "contact" element of the game to girls who are interested to “learn to play” or progress to the next level of the game.
Expect to get into the fun of basic tackling skills, rucks & mauls, scrums and lineouts. This will also put you on a head start when the National Women’s 15s Training Squad (Open Invitation) commence on 1 March where everyone start at basic level. Who knows! You might be the next shining star player representing Singapore at various international tournaments.

The National Women’s 7s Team is currently ranked 2nd in Asia since 2004 Asian Women’s 7s Championship held in Kazakhstan. Catch them this year at the Hong Kong International Women’s 7s battling the rugby giants like New Zealand, Australia, USA… and not to be missed Asian Women’s 7s Championship right at our home ground in April. Come 1 March will also see the formation of the first ever National Women’s 15s Team in preparation for the Rugby World Cup (Asian) Qualifiers.
