I realised that sometimes providing a listening ear to users are good enough to satisfy them. The technical issue may not be big but the psychological issue is much bigger.
They wanna be heard, they wanna noe that people are bothered to listen to their 'trivial issues' and that the IT help desk is not just a help desk where people just wanna finish up ur issues n b done with. service line.. maybe i still like it after all.
