Yep it does, finally the event is over and although it wasn’t the most fantastic i can only say i’m glad it’s over. The stress from running so many things concurrently during that period gave me pimples on my back. Goodness gracious. I’ve never ever had pimples on my back and it’s really quite disgusting. But it’s healing nicely now. Thank God. Then there was the art clay silver class which i attended on Sunday and the semi precious stones that arrived when i got home after the event. So many things to look forward to after the event. =)

Here they are my little “master pieces” lol. It really is a very interesting material to work with. It’s basically 99.9% silver with an organic binder so the organic binder makes the clay look like your normal grey colored clay which some people even use as face masks. After moulding you dry it, after drying you sand and file the thing til you’re so blardy tired and also start wondering if you can make anything decent with it. Then you fire it either via a kiln, gas torch or gas stove. Yes gas stove, cool eh. And after that you brush and file and sand and burnish and polish it. In fact the finishing is the really tedious part. But it’s pretty cool coz while you’re in the finishing process you can really see your creation take shape, or go horribly wrong. But yeah. Really fun class to learn. Bumped into a friend i knew from OBS whom i got to know in secondary school and caught up with her. It’s scary how many years we have not kept in touch. Almost 10 years! Sigh in a few years time i’ll get to tell ppl that i know this person for 20 years. So scary.

Just got my full ethics approval. Yay!! Gonna start data collection and all. Hopefully i don’t run behind schedule. Gotta start working hard now. =)
